18, Last Year Of Highschool, And Want To Get A Start In The Pharmacy Field. What Can I Do?

By CNAGuide

Right now im 18 years old and this is going to be my last year in highschool. Im currently taking a medical class called Med Pro at my school its 2 periods long and it helped me learn alot last year. So this year im taking Med Pro 2. Last year we worked our way up to getting our CNA certification and this year were doing pharmacy so by the end of the year we will be able to get our Pharmacy Tech certification. I’ve called around and you have to already have your GED or have graduated from highschool to be a Pharm Tech. So I cant do that until i graduate. So what is there to do in the pharmacy feild as of right now? Im 18 so ill be able to do most jobs but im still in highschool. :/

All you can do is working in a pharmacy as a cashier. This would have 3 positive points. First, you might be able to work there when you obtain the Pharm Tech degree. Second, you’ll be familiar with pharmacy and its environment. And third, you will be able to earn some money and working experience. gl
