Acts Different?
Me and my girlfriend of 4 years both have jobs. I’m a grpahic design artist and she is a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant). I work 1st shift and she works 3rd shift. Ever since she started working double shifts and 3rd shift, she has been acting very different towards me. Before, she didn’t have a job and she would call me, tell me she loves me, let me kiss her anytime I wanted, and etc. Now since she has a job, she don’t do those things anymore. When I go to kiss her, she won’t let me kiss her as much, or she’ll just give me the cheek. It really bothers me and upsets me. Is this just a thing to do with a couple working? Is the 3rd shift she works making her this way? I miss how she used to be.

she’s cheating
I was a CNA for 10 years, and worked all three shifts. It can be a real burn out over time, and this particular job is emotionally challenging. 3rd shift is the worst-it does mess with your head.
I’m not sure how much the challenge of the job has to do with her giving you the cheek. That’s odd.
I did know people who told their loved ones they were working more to cover up a rendevous.
The job alone is not quite the excuse for shutting out a boyfriend’s affection. You need to talk to her and find out what’s going on. If it’s coming between the both of you, it needs to be addressed.
