Hi, I have only my written test left on my EMT B certification process. I have volunteered in EMS as a first responder close too a year. I am starting a job with the hospital as a Sterile Processing Tech. I enjoy EMS on a volunteer level. However, the hospital runs their own EMS service and look for EMTs above EMT B. I would enjoy more interaction with patients and expanding with the hospital down the road.
However few questions as a EMT I or AEMT can you do work as a CNA, PCT, or Nurse Assistant?
As a AEMT are there opportunities outside of just being involved in EMS?
