Advice For A Newly Admitted Nursing Student?

By CNAGuide

I’ve just been accepted to nursing school for the Fall, and I really want to be a competitive applicant for nursing jobs when I graduate with my BSN.
After my first year I plan to become a CNA or LVN, but I was thinking of only working per diem because I hear nursing school is crazy difficult. (Would working only per diem affect my resume verses someone who worked full or part time during nursing school?)
Any other tips on how to study, how to be noticed, or get good letters of recommendation when I graduate..basically how to be a top notch Nursing graduate to get the best nursing RN positions?

You are not expected to work full time while you ade in nursing school. part time is more than adequate.
You obviously have a good work ethic. Keep that up and you will be successful./
