By admin

I am going to school to be an RN but I want to become a CNA while im still in school. Does anyone know of anywhere in Michigan to take CNA training?

Most of the community colleges offer CNA programs and you can get financial aid if needed. There is also a medical school in Flint and somewhere else (not sure) in Michigan that is 2 weeks long (5 days a week, 8 hours a day), costs about 1500 total with scrubs and the supplies you need, but their is no financial aid. It all depends on if you need the financial aid or not. Make sure you choose an accredited program (you can google the schools that are accredited in Michigan).

I’m assuming the girl above took the training years ago at the American Red Cross. Now the CNA training program costs $850 and it includes two weeks of training and one week of clinicals.
    Good luck

Yes. At American Red Cross. I went there and had to pay $600 for a 30 day class. But if you’re pursuing a career in the field of nursing, it’s worth it.
    Good luck!!!
