I have been licensed since February and have yet to get a job as a EMT-I, Is it this hard for eveyone?!?
Do you know any places to apply near or around Fresno/Clovis area. I am willing to commute and have 5 years of CNA/Office experience but can’t find a job.
I just want a job at American Ambulance(I prefer) or a hospital where I can continue to learn as I continue to attend school for nursing.

I want to be an orthadontist or Physician. I am 15 years old and currently have a 3.0 GPA. I know I could possibly raise it to a 3.5 or maybe even a 4.0. I live near chicago. When I was in 9th grade I had a 2.9GPA. I was wondering If I still have a chance to be accepted to college to study and become either an orthadontist or Physician. I am not rich I am about an average person, money wise. Is it too late for me. I was planning to go to a community college over the summer to become a CNA (certified nurse aid) and work at a Doctors office. Do you think this will higher my chances into getting accepted to a college for becoming an orthadontist or Physician?

I had a problem got my self into alot of trouble i was a cna at an assisted living. i started taking narc’s i got caught. got fired and i would do anything to have my job back or even work in nursing again i know i made a big mistake i went through rehab nothing has happened yet with the law. i have recently started a new managing job i hate it, it’s not where my heart is i would give anything to be able to go back will i ever be able to?

Well, I am trying to find a job as a CNA, I have just been issued my license so it would be my first ob as one. A local nursing home is constructing a new building and I called and told me they will be hiring within a month. The lady told me to apply anywhere between two weeks to a month from now. I was wondering if I should do two weeks three weeks or a full month. During what time do you think I should apply to get a call? Also I want to apply at another local one, but i don’t know if this weeks is good since labor day weekend is coming, do you think it’s a good idea to wait until tuesday or wednesday next week?

I Am A Cna And Believe I Have Contracted C Diff In My Nursing Home?

I work as a CNA in a nursing home in which many people have been diagnosed with cdiff. This morning I became very ill (vomitting, diarrhea, aches and pains) and had a culture taken at the hospital for cdiff. Since I am a CNA, I know the distinct smell of Cdiff, and deff think the smell of my stool is similar. I am petrified of this and wont recieve the stool specimen results for 48 hours. I have stopped vomitting now and am able to keep down some fluids but the diarrhea is relentless. Please any advice.. I am 18 years old btw.
