If A Medical Job License Is Revoked, Are You Still Able To Work In The Medical Field?

By CNAGuide

My friend has had her medical CNA license revoked recently. I’m wondering if even though she had her license taken away for being a CNA, is she still able to go to school again for another medical profession such as a nursing assistant? Or does having her CNA license revoked means that she will not be able to have any more jobs or professions in the medical field?

She won’t be able to work in the medical field if she lost her license but if she goes back to school say to be an LPN she will have a new license. After she gets that license she shouldnt mention the CNA license becuae that really doesnt require a license it’s just a certificate but yes after school she will have a fresh start absolutly!!!

nope revoked means she can’t work in the medical field again. Kinda like when you’re driver’s license is revoked. What the heck did she do to do that???
She could probably do a desk job as an assistant or clerk but as far as seeing patients where she has to give drugs, never again.

yes but your pay will be less than those who have a license and it depends on what you do

If it was revoked i don’t think she should be trying to do anything else medical. That’s pretty sad if she can’t even be a CNA.

I’m going to apologize for the length of this email, and because I still don’t think I wrote enough in it. But I looked for 3 years for a real at home business, I knew there had to be one out there. I fell for some real scams and lost money sometimes a lot, sometimes not much, but money is money and it sucks to loose it on something like a scam when your trying to make money.
I have some news that could cheer you up. My husband and I have a at home business that could make you a lot of money and give you great experience. I say could because you have to work for it, it takes a lot of work at first but after a little while you can kinda sit back and watch it make a lot of money for you. I’m serious, I have been doing this for about a month and Stephen (my husband) and I are going around looking to buy a house.Well here is a summary,
We own an affiliate business, that means that it is my own business selling someone else’s product. I sign people up for a variety of really good health care plans that are actually really cheap for what you get. When I sign someone up for a plan I get a 30% commission every month for as long as that person is a member. The other part of what I do is signing up people up to do exactly what I do. If I were to sign you up to be an IBO or Independent Business Owner then I would get paid $15 a day for as long as you are an IBO, now if you sign up an IBO then you get paid $15 a day, and I get paid $10 a day, just imagine how much you would get paid if you sign up 10 IBO’s and they each sign up ten, that would be $250 a day which is about $7,500 a month, and $91,250 a year just for you signing up 10 people and them doing the same. There is more stuff to it like health benefits for me and anyone that lives with me, and a retirement plan and stuff like that. It would take forever for me to explain it to you this way let me send you my web sights the first two are for an Independent Business Owner (IBO) the third is for the benefits package

Every license she tries to obtain will ask about any other felonies, revocations etc. So, it would be pretty difficult, but depends on circumstances. She should, under NO circumstances, lie about the revocation (its easily discovered & she would certainly be banned for all medical jobs for ever)

Unless by “revoked” you mean she lost it after failing to meet re-certification requirements, I really doubt it.
If she had been certified but did not work, complete the required continuing education, and failed to submit the form required for re-certification in the required time (2 years), then she would no longer be certified. This is not the same as having it be revoked, it just lapsed. Some states require that you re-take the course and certification test, others just make you re-take the test.
Nursing assistant IS CNA (CNA stands for certified nursing assistant), so I doubt they would let her re-take the course if they ad to strip her of the certification.
If she messed up bad enough to lose the CNA certification, I really don’t see how she could handle any other health care profession. What did she do? CNAs are pretty much the lowest level caregivers there are, there is no way that she would be accepted into any other nursing or health care programs with that on her record.
