If A Medical Job License Is Revoked, Are You Still Work In The Medical Field?

By CNAGuide

My friend has had her medical CNA license revoked recently. I’m wondering if even though she had her license taken away for being a CNA, is she still able to go to school again for another medical profession such as a nursing assistant? Or does having her CNA license revoked means that she will not be able to have any more jobs or professions in the medical field?

It depends on what her license was revoked for. If she was convicted of a felony, had a drug conviction or had her license revoked because of abuse, she won’t be able to get any other type of medical license in that state.
She could get a job that doesn’t require state certification, but the reason her CNA was revoked will be on her work record.
A CNA and a nursing assistant are the same thing.
