Medical Assistant Training?
My friend is volunteering at a clinic and working as a medical assistant she does everything a regular MA does but she is not allowed to give shots because she doesn’t have the certificate.
I was wondering in MA’ing is like other trades such as Hair styling where for example if your mom is a Cosmetologist and she teaches you everything and you pass the state board you can work.
Or if you are at a certain point in a accredited BSN nursing program you can work as a CNA as long as you pass the state board.
So basically I’m wondering if Medical Assisting is one of those Vocations/Trade
No I don’t believe so. I think you have to take the specific classes and get specifically certified but I’m not certain. My roommate is in Nursing School and she just finished taking CNA classes so I would assume, no.
