Hello Washington
I am moving to Washington From Chicago And I need some insights. What would be a high paying CNA job or area to look into until I am finish with school. I am looking for decent pay with a easy commute. Me and my husband are trying to start a new life and by him being into construction but forming a gravedigger the area and commute would have to accommodate him also. Do CNA get paid good in Washington, and how is the way of life there. I stayed in Tacoma for a couple of months when I was 15 but that was years ago and I can vaguely remember but I do remember the weather was horrible (to me). My closest friend live in Spanaway but is there any jobs out there? Someone please tell me what all I need to know but I make this huge step.

There are many jobs in the Seattle area.
It’s going to be hard to find a good commute – our traffic is pretty crappy, but we have great public transportation!
The Eastside of Seattle is much more expensive than North or South Seattle – however if you go South of Seattle to Tacoma, Federal Way, White Center or Fife – you’re getting into high crime areas. Renton isn’t too bad – but you’d be living off of 167 <- Which has terrible traffic Day and Night.
Kenmore, Bothell, Everett & Northgate are pretty nice places to live – crime rate is moderate and they are cheaper than the Eastside but still relatively close to Seattle.
When I refer to the eastside that is cities like: Medina, Redmond, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, Bellevue, etc….
I suggest looking at seattletimes.com – Jobs
Begin applying – then start looking into places to live.
**Oh and about the weather. We have the most beautiful summers you could ever ask for, however, Late October to Early June – it’s overcast and rainy. It takes time to get used to our weather – but if you survive one Winter you’re good!!
This is so much information – I’m sorry to over-load you!!!!
I just love my city!!
the best areas to live in are bellevue, redmond, sammamish, and snoqualmie. there kinda pricey tho. beward of a busy commute, and u have to get used to the weather…other than that, Washington is THE BEST!
