Nursing Assistant Importance?

By CNAGuide

I am a CNA and I think it is a very important job but several ppl in my life seem to think otherwise and make me feel bad about my career choice, I love it and the ppl I take care of, but am I loser for choosing such a career?

Employees that change sheets and take vital signs will always be needed.
The more important issue here is that your friends/family feel the need to put you down for choosing this career. Either they aren’t worth having in your life, or you need to listen to them because they feel you can do better.
There isn’t a question here (which is a violation of the TOS), which makes me think that a CNA career might be just right for you. The rules will be clearly laid out and drilled into your head, but you will be very important in a hospital – you are the first person who might see a significant change in a patient.
Listen, not everyone can be a surgeon, MSN, or PA. And the CNAs are there as a front line that’s very important. A hospital can’t function without them!!!

As a nursing student I see just how hard the CNA’s work. And they are always working so hard and on the go! I have a great appreciation for the CNA’s! So don’t let anyone make you feel bad. Your doing a great thing!
