Nursing, Lpn Grad No License?

By CNAGuide

Hi,
wondering if anyone (nurses, MD’s.allied med prof, etc ) would be able to suggest what kind of job to look for medically related -other than CNA- for a new LPN grad whilst waiting for licensure. This waiting period could be over a year so any suggestions of alternate jobs would be appreciated. BTW, I’m in the greater Miami area.

They offer the test all the time through Pearson Vue and the results take a few weeks….what is taking you over a year? Confused. But direct answer, you could do anything that does NOT require a license or certification.

The wait for licensure does not take over a year.If you have written the NCLEX PN it should only take a few weeks.Have you applied for a temp license in the mean time?
