What Extra Things Can I Do In Nursing?
I am going to school for nursing. I just want to know what extra things I can do to help me excel in the workforce. Examples: is a bachelors degree really worth it?, how long should i work as a CNA?, just any little tid bits that you know of that could help me either in school or the workforce would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated. I really want to do well as a nurse and be able to support my family when I get older.

YES, A BACHELORS IS NECESSARY IF YOU WANT TO GO ANYWHERE, AND A MASTERS IS EVEN BETTER, THE MORE EDUCATION YOU GET THE BETTER OFF YOU WILL BE…YOU SHOULD WORK AS A CNA AS LONG AS YOU ARE GOING TO NURSING SCHOOL OR AT LEAST UNTIL YOU CAN TAKE THE TEST AND BE A LPN( LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE.) AND THEN GO ON TO RN.

The way that you can excel in the career of nursing, is by going to school and getting your Registered Nursing Degree. Then when you have this, you can specialize in pretty much any field of medicine that nurses do such as emergency, ob, cardiac, pediatrics and so on.
