What Is A Good Lpn School And How Long Does It Take In Chicago Area?
im thinking i want to try something new with my life…. what education do u need before you go into this?? do u know if i can work strictly nights too? do i have to do cna program first or just go in to lpn?

My wife looked into the same thing and found that by going to school for just 2 years at a tech school you can get your RN degree, it is not a teaching RN degree but it is a legitimate RN. You might want to try doing that. I think she found the LPN program would take about a year to complete. If you already have gone to some college, most of the classes will only be the actual nursing classes, very little general ed courses. You might want to check that out.
She did the CNA course first so she could work as a CNA, sometimes required sometimes not…she works nights only and makes $14 as a CNA.
